Northeast Nebraska All-Star basketball games set for Northeast Community College in June

NORFOLK – Some of the finest basketball players in the region will take to the hardwood in Norfolk.

Northeast Community College will host the 32nd Annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball games in the Cox Activities Center on Friday, June 19. The girls game will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow at 8 p.m.

Members of the Girls’ Light Team include: Allison Arens, Quinn Wragge and Maria Wortmann, Crofton; Ellie Arduser,Laurel-Concord-Coleridge; Geena Piper and Joelle Heng, Norfolk Catholic; Kianna Kramper, Ponca; Haley Schnoor,Randolph; Jerica Baumert, Scribner-Snyder; and Rachel Brandl, Stanton.

Coaches are Tim Kassmeier, Norfolk Catholic, and Liz Fischer, Stanton.

Members of the Girls’ Dark Team include: Rebecca Eggerling, Creighton; Katie Koenig, Ewing; Audra Corbit, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge; Jaycee Bradley and TaLeah Williams, of Norfolk; Rachelle Tucker and Sydney Silhacek, Pierce; Bridget Schneider, St. Mary’s – O’Neill; Cassy Gade, West Point-Beemer; and Jenna Heine, Wynot.

Coaches are Craig Theis, West Point-Beemer, and Traci Berg, St. Mary’s.

Members of the Boys’ Light Team include: Hunter Martin, Ainsworth; Jared Bellar and Zach Bellar, Battle Creek; Trevor Mlnarik, Clearwater-Orchard; Zach Wells, Madison; Steven LaPointe, Niobrara-Verdigre; Alex Borchers, South Sioux City; Christian Heppner, Stanton; Ben Hoskins, Wayne; and Ty Haase, West Point-Beemer. Coaches are Shelly Mlnarik,Clearwater/Orchard, and Trevor Anderson, Battle Creek.

Members of the Boys’ Dark Team include: Quinn O’Brien, Bloomfield; James Kaiser, Cedar Catholic; Kenny Appleton and Carsten Teitz, Bancroft-Rosalie; Brock Mueller, Crofton; Tyler Hagedorn and Kory Reestman, Norfolk; and Isaiah Medina, Mathew Wingett and Cory Cleveland, Winnebago. Coaches are Jeff Berridge, Winnebago, and Gary Eisenhauer, Bloomfield.
