NORFOLK – Emmette Page (Crystal, Minn.) broke Ty Graham’s 18-year-old record for most points in a career on Wednesday Feb. 19 as the Northeast Community College men’s basketball team routed, 101-62 at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.

 

 

Page dropped 26 points while adding six rebounds and four assists, bringing his career point total to 1,071 points.

 

Michael Anderson (Lincoln, Neb.) tallied a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Hawks (13-16, 2-5 ICCAC) shot 43 percent from the field, 41 percent from beyond the arc and 77 percent from the free-throw line.

 

Merrix Denn (Osmond, Neb.) had one of his best nights in a Hawks uniform, chipping in 18 points and nine rebounds. Dennis Herrea (O’Neill, Neb.) added 13 points in seven minutes, while Ben Moxness (Scribner, Neb.) had 11 points and seven rebounds.

 

The Hawks host Southeastern Community College at 7 p.m. Saturday for their final conference game of the season in Norfolk.
