Northeast Phi Beta Lambda Helps Make a Difference

PBL+Students

PBL Students volunteering at the Norfolk Salvation Army.

Today, three members of Northeast Phi Beta Lambda (PBL), an organization on campus dedicated to building career skills, helped volunteer at the Norfolk Salvation Army. They helped package chocolates that were donated to provide a treat to areas that were impacted by the devastating flood.

This activity is part of PBL’s #NorfolkCares Campaign, a service project constructed in an effort to make the biggest impact possible. It consists of volunteering, interviewing businesses that have contributed, and hosting a donating campaign. So far they have partnered with the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce Cadets, a club with the goal to bridge the gap between future and present professionals, in order to be connected within the business community.

Follow Northeast Phi Beta Lambda on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay updated on the campaign and how you might be able to help!
