Nate Jackson, comedian and cast member on MTV’s hit show Wild N’ Out, performed in the Lifelong Learning Center on Wednesday, Sept. 26 as part of a Wacky Wednesday event. The renowned comedian began his show at 7 p.m. and ran a little past the expected stopping time, ending around 9:15.

Admission was free for Northeast students if they brought their student I.D., and there was a $5 charge for guests. The first 100 students who arrived received a free pair of SAC (Student Activities Council) socks.

Experiencing a roar of applause after his final joke, Jackson took a “selfie” video with all of the attendees who stayed, and promised to “follow” anyone back on Instagram for one hour after the show ended. Agnes, a student, said that she enjoyed the show, and that she didn’t have a favorite skit because, “they were all too good to choose.”

Future Wacky Wednesday events include the blood drive on Oct. 3 in the student center, and the “Sober in October” event on Oct. 17, which includes a simulated drunk driving course, field sobriety tests, free t-shirts to the first 100 students and other prizes.
