NORFOLK – The Northeast Community College golf team defeated Central Community College in a dual at Fairplay Golf Course here Tuesday, 310-329.

Preston Peters of the Hawks was medalist after shooting a 73. The Raiders’ Marshall Obla was second with a 76.

Also for Northeast, Dalton Lammers, Michael Brockhaus and Stephen Grand Pre shot 79 while Cody Steuter finished with an 84.

The Hawks JV defeated Central 322-357. Cameron Bancroft of Northeast had the low score with a 79.

Northeast will participate in the Morningside Invitational at the Whispering Creek Golf Club in Sioux City, IA, on Monday at 11:30 a.m.
