NORFOLK – The start time for the Northeast Community College-Iowa Western Community College men’s soccer match on Tuesday in Norfolk has been changed.

Jake Ripple, Northeast athletic director, said due to a scheduling conflict the match at Veterans Memorial Field will begin at 2 p.m. rather 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, Ripple said the College is inviting the community to come out to see the men’s soccer team play on Thursday as it hosts Central Community College of Columbus. There will be free admission for everyone who attends the match.

“This is our way to say thank you to the community for its support, and an opportunity for everyone to come out and enjoy an evening of collegiate soccer,” he said.

Ripple said free Hawk’s water bottles will be given to the first 50 people through the gate.

Thursday’s match at Veterans Memorial Field begins at 7 p.m.
