Nebraska Giving Property Owners 100-Plus Dollar Tax Break

LINCOLN–  Nebraska is giving property owners a slight property tax break this year.  According to the state Department of Revenue, this year’s Property Tax Credit Act will give non-agriculture land owners a 104-dollar-and-15-cent tax credit per 100-thousand dollars of valuation.  Agriculture land owners will receive a tax credit of just under 125 dollars per 100-thousand dollars of valuation.  The state will be distributing a total of 275-million dollars in property tax credits this year.
