LINCOLN —  Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is promoting his tax proposal.  The governor’s plan would increase the state property tax credit program by 51-million-dollars per year.  The measure would also place a three-percent limit on the spending of property tax proceeds.  Ricketts has also spoken out against a proposed tax increase on tobacco, soft drinks and candy.
