The Immortals: Action through and through

From the producers of 300, Immortals rampaged into theaters November 11th.Immortals is starring Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, and John Hurt.  The director Tarsem Singh who is also known for the movies The Cell and Mirror, Mirror.

Cavill (Theseus) plays a mortal man who is chosen by Zeus (Hurt) to fight against an army led by the tyrant King Hyperion (Rourke).

Hyperion and his army are on a mission to find a weapon that can destroy humanity.  If this weapon is found Hyperion would be able to overthrow the gods in Olympus and become the ruler of his world. Theseus is the only man that can stop this from happening.

Cavill plays an anti-hero that fights his destiny until a break out moment where he decides to face is demons and fight for the world.  Zeus continues to guide him on his way through the movie, so that he will go on to greatness.

I would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars for its action packed scenarios and message that goes out of viewers.
