O’NEILL – Herbal medicine courses will be offered this month at Northeast Community College in O’Neill.
Healing All Around You: An Introduction to Herbal Medicine Part 1 (HORC 0195 and CRN #70144) will be held Thursday, February 20, from 7-9 p.m. in Room 105 at the Northeast Community College Extended Campus, 409 East Adams Street, in O’Neill.
Taste your way to health through this class. Simple herbal remedies are easy to use and support good health. In this class, participants will use their taste buds to identify the flavors of herbs and their medicinal actions.
Healing All Around You: An Introduction to Herbal Medicine Part 2 (HOEC 0195 and CRN #70157) meets Thursday, February 27, from 7-9 p.m. in the same location.
This class will focus on hands-on medicine making. Participants will learn how to make herbal remedies, such as teas, tinctures and oils. A discussion will take place as to how these preparations are used in everyday life to boost immunity, support health, and increase vitality.
Cost of each class, with Amy Seger, the instructor is $16.
