SOUTH SIOUX CITY – Northeast Community College in South Sioux City will offer adult, child, and infant cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated electronic defibrillator (AED) courses in February and March.
Heartsaver CPR-AED, Adult, Child, Infant course will be held Saturdays, February 22 (HLTH 0115 & CRN #70099) and March 29 (HLTH 0115 & CRN #70102) in Room 214A at the College Center, 1001 College Way, in South Sioux City.
The Heartsaver CPR course is a modular CPR course that teaches participants how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for responsive and non-responsive adults. The general public is the target audience for this course. The application and use of the AED is also included.
Cost of each class, with Kevin Garvin the instructor, is $40.
