Musicians Wanted

Musicians+Wanted

ATTENTION Northeast Students: You can’t have a band without musicians and you can’t have a choir without singers. The bands and choirs on campus are looking for people to fill spots in any of the bands and choirs. This void of musicians is due to a large amount of people that graduated from the music program last spring.

If you are interested in joining one of the bands, talk to Dr. Neuharth in the Cox Activity Center room 108B. If you are interested in joining one of the choirs, talk to Dr. Boullion in the Cox Activity Center Room 108A. Dr. Neuharth says he is wiling to work with schedules. The music department has a lot of scholarships available so if money is the problem, a scholarship could be available to you. These scholarships are not just for music majors, anyone can receive one.

The jazz band is looking for a bass player, saxophone or tenor saxophone, and trumpet players. The choir is looking for men to sing. Both the bands and choirs will take any musicians so do not be shy!

Joining either band or choir is a great way to make new friends and have new experiences in college. Extra activities while in college always look good on a resume and scholarships are available to anyone. Please help the music department out and join today. Email Dr. Neuharth at [email protected] and Dr. Boullion at [email protected] for further questions and information.
