NORFOLK– Extreme bowling took place Nov. 14 at King’s Lane’s in Norfolk. The night began at 9:30 and lasted until 11:30 p.m. The event was free for students with their Northeast Community College ID and $5 for guests. This was the second extreme bowling event of the fall semester as part of the student activities council’s Wacky Wednesday.

What makes extreme bowling extreme is that students got to bowl with their shoes off, in their socks. The lights were also turned off and there were disco lights flashing all around to give a neon effect. “I think it is a favorite Wacky Wednesday for our students.   We always get a large turnout and it’s a great opportunity to meet new people since we need to keep the lanes full. Usually groups have to merge together to make it six or more for a lane,” student activities director Carissa Kollath said.
