On February 14, 2018,  Northeast Community College students lined up in Path Hall to have the word ‘love’ written on their arm.  The event was hosted by To Write Love on Her Arms, an organization dedicated to raising self awareness about suicide, depression, and self cutting.

Carissa Kollath, Director of Student Activities said,  “We’re just here to write love on people’s arms, let them know about information, and see if they know someone who is suffering.” Students chose from a dozen different designs to have drawn and written on their arms.” Afterwards,  students received a free t – shirt and gift bags.
