Northeast students show out for blood drive
October 6, 2017
On Wednesday the Red Cross hosted a blood drive at the Northeast Community College Norfolk Campus. The blood drive was held at the Life Long Learning Center and was a huge success. The Red Cross had a goal of collecting 76 units and ended up exceeding that goal with a total of 87 units. A total of 102 students showed up to donate but some had to be turned away due to time constraints. Everyone who showed up to donate received refreshments and had a chance to enter to win some Hawks gear. The students who were turned away will have another chance to donate when the Red Cross returns in December.
