If you eat breakfast at Hawks Point dining hall on the Northeast Community College campus, Renee might have made your omelet.  Renee is a stir fry cook and it’s her job to come up with many different dishes.  Students say she is easy to talk to and they look forward to mornings with her.  Renee says that she likes working with college students because, “…you guys are young adults.  You have an opinion about the world.”

She worked at the Norfolk, Nebraska campus from 2013-2015, took a few years off to work at a public school, and is now back at Northeast.  She loves serving the students and it shows; her kind heart and warm smile are widely appreciated by all students.

Renee isn’t planning on leaving anytime soon.  Even though she switched jobs a few years ago, she is back and here to stay.  She says, “I’m here ’til they kick me out.”
