Vala’s Pumpkin Patch
October 20, 2016
Northeast Community College students took a trip to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Gretna, NE. A trip to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch has become a tradition for many families all over the state of Nebraska, and they are heading into their 30th year of operation.
Some favorites that draw people to Vala’s are the caramel apples, pumpkin funnel cakes, the Pie Barn and the new Egg Scramble. This new feature is held in a giant yellow barn where kids and adults play family-friendly dodge-ball, which Vala’s calls it an “egg-straveganza”.
Vala’s Pumpkin Patch will be closing for the season soon, so if you want to experience this great fall activity you will need to do it by the end of October.
