Llolanda Hernandez, Reporter

If you are looking for a job while you are in college you might want to consider peer advising. Peer advisors are required to be full-time students during the 2016-2017 school year with a 3.0 GPA. Peer advisors assist students with My Northeast, Degree Works, locating transfer guides, course registration, and My Classes Online. If you are positive, self-motivated, responsible, and have great communication skills this could be the right job for you!

Peer advisors will be paid $9.50 an hour and work usually between 5 to 6 hours a week after being trained. No particular subject matter is needed which means peer advisors can have any major. There are only nine open spots and the deadline to apply is on Friday, April 8, 2016.
