March 29, 2016
Students interested in learning about travel opportunities with Northeast Community College can stop by the Center for Global Engagement office this Thursday, March 31. Director Pam Saalfeld is having an open house outside Maclay 142 from 12:30 to 3 p.m.
This is a chance to visit with the faculty leaders of upcoming trips: Bath, England – Pam and Kristi Rastede; Costa Rica – Irina Weitzmann, Angie Jackson, Erin Kucera, Kate Trindle; Central Europe – Brad Vogt and Harry Lindner; Canada — Michael Lechner.
Visitors can see a slideshow of past travels, get passport applications, sign up for future trips and even pay the deposit (payment plans are available).
There will be refreshments available and the opportunity to register for door prizes.
Saalfeld recently sat down with Viewpoint editor, Marissa Lute to talk about Northeast’s emphasis on international travel.
