Northeast Falls To Southeast In Men’s Basketball 76-69

BEATRICE – Despite four players scoring in double figures and leading at halftime, the Northeast Community College’s men’s basketball could not hold on and fell to Southeast Community College here Monday, 76-69.
The loss comes less than a week after Northeast defeated Southeast in Norfolk, 90-78.
Marty Hill led the Hawks with 17 points while Kevin Metoyer had 13. Peirre Conwell and Boris Rajovic had 10 each; Mathew Wingett, finished with six, Earvin Peroni, five and Jalen Mobley and Milan Skundric with two each.
Southeast was led by Noah Scott and Richie Rodger with 15 points each.
The Hawks (14-11) will host #4 Indian Hills Community College (25-2) on Wednesday in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
