Bonnie’s Band of Bards will be reading selections from their work next Wednesday, December 9 at 7 pm in the Northeast Community College Library.  The Bards are made up of students in Bonnie Johnson-Bartee’s Creating Poetry I & II classes.  The poems come from the students’ writing during this Fall 2015 semester. Bonnie’s Band of Bards are Kirsten Cattell, Grace Lawhorn, Sarah Lutjens, Michael McCarthy, Amy Messing, Jayne Mitka, Cameron Pick, Zachariah Siemer, Tana Buoy, Celine Eggerling, and Whitney Tyrell. Students will read for about 5 to 10 minutes and refreshments will be provided. The reading is free and open to the public.
