Northeast Theatre presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream
September 25, 2015
The Northeast Community College Theatre Department and the Norfolk Community Theatre are presenting A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, with their first performance on October 1, 2015.
Jake Allemang, who plays the character Lysander, is a first year Theatre major at Northeast. He says that his favorite part of this play is that even though it is one of Shakespeare’s few comedies, it still has a tragedy in the end.
Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies. This production features a life size tree built by cast, crew, and Norfolk Community Theatre members including Roger and Sue Jochum.
Come see Jake and the rest of the cast during their performances on October 1-3, 8-10 at 7:30 p.m. and October 4 at 2 p.m. Adult tickets are $15.00 in advance or $18.00 at the door. Student tickets are $10.00 in advance or $13.00 at the door. You can reserve your tickets online at the Norfolk Community Theatre website.
