Project Makeover:Part Two

Angela Richart

Once I had gotten the hang of tanning, it was time to start the next step of the makeover process: clothes. For this venture we turned to 318 On The Avenue, a fashion boutique in downtown Norfolk. The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding us great outfits to wear for business casual or for a night out. I was given a lot of great advice about what goes together and how to wear certain items.

It was actually kind of fun to be a human Barbie and have them play dress up with me. There were so many things to try on and model for the cameras, but we all had a good time. The following video, shot by photographer Seth Johansen and edited by Liz Cornett, was the result of our day’s shopping and the wonderful experience I had inside their beautiful store.
