Coming back from market, 318 owner Marie is excited about the new spring trends. At market, black and white seemed to be the thing. Whether it is a pattern of black and white or white jeans with a black shirt, it will be the thing this spring.

Another trend is neon and bold colors. Cool, fun shirts with the bold colors are really in trend this spring. To go with the black and white, sometimes there is a pattern or a pop of the bold color among the neutrals.  Also graphic tees and other tops and dresses are making a statement this spring. Floral patterns are in. Last year, floral made an appearance but a lot of people were hesitant to try it so this year it is back but a lot more subtle in some cases.

Now, all of these prints might be cool but what would you think about mixing print? Well this concept is big this year. Sometime the mixed print is done for you, but in other cases it is up to the buyer to do the mixing. Don’t be scared, take the risk. Shirt dresses have been around for a while but this spring, they are making a statement at 318. Marie loves the shirt dresses because you can belt them or leave them baggy. You can wear them with leggings when it is colder. Shirt dresses are really versatile. They can be something fun and flirty for date night or super casual for a day trip with the girls.

Something that 318 is really excited about the “cut outs”. This trend made its appearance about a year ago but now the cut outs are a little more unique. Some cut outs are minimal and on the lower back instead of having the whole back of the shirt gone. Marie stated, “Anything you can where with the bandeaus and the tanks are in.”

As from fun, spring bottoms, boyfriend friend fit jeans are in. The boyfriend fit is just loose from about the hip down, or if you are new to the trend, the girlfriend fit might be more your style. The girlfriend fit is a little more tight fitted but will give you the more relaxed look. Also going along with the loose, relaxed fit is the jogger pant and rompers.
