Thirst Things First Performs At First Friday

“First Fridays” popularity continues to grow with each event and the Norfolk Arts Center is announcing another great line-up for October. This creative event continues to draw large crowds enjoying live music, local artists and a fun night out. On Friday, October 3rd from 7-10p.m., Thirst Things First will perform their unique sound of music, Sci-Fi Punkimous. Their Facebook page states ‘sounds of the future are mixed with technological sounds from the past to make a demonstration even mutants can comprehend’ to describe their music. This group is coming from Lincoln, Nebraska to perform at the Norfolk Arts Center. You don’t want to miss out on this experience!

Admission for the event is $5 at the door for NAC members and $10 for non-members. Guests who sign up for a NAC membership at “First Fridays” get free admission to the event. Patrons will have the opportunity to engage in the full underground experience including art, food, drinks, music and of course, interactive artistic demonstrations throughout the atrium and gallery. First Choice Catering and Party Rental will have a cash bar available that evening as well. Guests can also view the current exhibit, featuring Nebraska artists, Iggy Sumnik and Pat James in the gallery and atrium.
