Northeast Beats Clinton Community College In Straight Sets

NORFOLK – The Northeast Community College volleyball team make quick work in its latest match. The Hawks defeated Clinton Community College in straight sets here Saturday, 25-6, 25-4, 25-15.

Taryn Luedtke and Grace Ecklund led Northeast with nine kills each while Luedtke and Megan Backer had seven digs each. Backer and Brittany Sullivan each recorded four ace serves; Sydney Whitmarsh had one solo block and Kiara Lopez registered 23 assists.

Northeast will host Southeast Community College Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk.
