NORFOLK – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office report they have made an arrest in the incident that occurred Monday afternoon, March 3 on the Northeast Community College campus in Norfolk.

A Sheriff’s investigator says a Madison man, John Ertzner, 23, was arrested at his residence on Thursday and charged with Terroristic Threats, for approaching three students in the parking lot of the Northeast Utility Line building.  Ertzner was allegedly armed and approached the students as they were leaving their vehicle. No one was hurt. The suspect left the parking lot and local law enforcement was contacted.

Ertzner was arrested at his home without incident.
