People have your back

They believe in you

You know that’s a fact

Just keep your head held high

You’re stronger than you know

Even if it hurts

You never let it show

Life isn’t fair and no one knows why

But whatever you do, girl, please don’t cry

It’s okay to be afraid

But it isn’t how you’re made

Don’t you blink too fast

This pain will quickly pass

Believe me someday you’ll touch the sky

Until then, remember, it’s really okay to cry
