People always say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and today, Wednesday, January 15, 2014, the Northeast Community College staff felt that it was, too. This morning from 7 to 9:30, the kitchen staff held a free breakfast for all NECC students, faculty, and staff. This event was sponsored by Chartwells. The guests were served pancakes and bacon.

Many students, upon being asked, said the food was delicious and that it was a nice break from class, even though it is only the third day back. Some teachers even cancelled class so the students could go and enjoy a free meal.

Many people were able to enjoy the meal, converse with people and make new friends all at the same time. If you were one of the many people able to attend, make sure to say thank you to the cooks and the Chartwell staff.
