Dr. Michael Paradise and his wife, Ann will be honored Thursday, September 12th at 10am in the new outdoor gathering space called Paradise Courtyard. The covered area is adjacent to the College Welcome Center (CWC)* on the Norfolk campus.
Dr. Paradise, who served as president of the Northeastern Nebraska College from 1968 to 1972, was instrumental in the merger of Northeastern Nebraska College
and Northeast Technical College and in the development of the community college system in the State of Nebraska.
Past president, Dr. Robert Cox, and current president, Dr. Michael Chipps, will conduct the naming ceremony on behalf of the College. Former staff, Senator John Harms and Larry Godel,
will also provide remarks.
*In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved inside the CWC.
