As tablets and iPads are becoming more prevalent, with increasing processing power, many wonder if laptops and personal computers are going to be a thing of the past. I cannot predict the future of the technological market (much to my wallet’s dismay…) But I can tell you about the Mini PC.
While there are many different manufacturers, I found the MK802 to be the most complete. About the size of a USB drive, the MK802 has an HDMI port for audio and video, as well as MicroSD, USB, and Micro USB ports for added versatility.
What makes the MK802 a Mini PC is it’s ability to operate on the Android 4.0 OS, as well as on Linux when switched to desktop mode. What the MK802 lacks in size, it makes up for in processing: its has 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of written memory
The MK802 and its competitors brings hope to those who need portability, but don’t want to sacrifice image quality. This small computer comes with a small price tag too – just $35.
