The International Association of Administrative Professionals is hosting a Student Chapter Meeting
Monday Feb. 4, 2013 from 2:15-2:45 p.m. at the College Center in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
Among the numerous topics that will be discussed are: various networking opportunities, skills on
keeping up with the latest trends, leadership skills, OfficePro magazine and Bits & Bytes newsletter
information and member discount rates for educational opportunities.
The Student Chapter is for individuals majoring in the administrative assistant program. No minimum
GPA is required though.
According to Diane Hanel CAP Administrative Assistant Instructor, the IAAP has been around since 1942.
The Northeast Community College Student Chapter was chartered in October of 2004.
The mission of the International Association of Administrative Professionals is to enhance the success
of career minded Administrative Professionals by providing opportunities for growth, to education,
community building, and leadership development.
Anyone interested in becoming an IAAP student member should come to room 223 at the College
Center in SSC on February 4, 2013 at 2:15-2:45.
