Northeast Community College Visiting Writers Series will present Kevin Clark on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
Kevin Clark is an award-winning author, who has published chapter books, poems, and text books. For his contributions to the Literary Review as well as the world of literature as a whole, Clark received the Angoff Award.
He is the author of three chapter books, including Self-Portrait with Expletives, which won the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Poetry Series Book Competition.
His poems have been published in such journals as Georgia, Iowa, and Antioch reviews, Crazyhorse, Ploughshares, Gulf Coast, The New York Quarterly, and the Denver Quarterly.
Among these other achievements, Clark is also a professor of American literature and creative writing at Cal Ply in San Luis Obispo. He also authored a poetry writing textbook called The Mind’s Eye, published by Pearson Longman.
Clark will be presenting in the Hawks Landing from 7-8 pm on Wednesday, November 14th.
