Between Benjamin Avenue and Norfolk Avenue on Highway 35 there was an accident that left two vehicles in bad shape.
Around 4:00p.m on Monday, April 24th, two vehicles (a pickup and an explorer) collided as they tried to get off the side of the road to miss each other.
One ambulance was on the scene, but no one was terribly hurt in the accident. Three State Troopers were seen directing traffic and watching out for the people involved.
One women was grabbing articles of clothing and other miscellaneous things out of her explorer before it was going to be towed.
Since the accident happened on the side of the road, traffic was directed quickly and people were not held up for long.
