Where do Easter Eggs come from? Chickens? The Easter Bunny? How about the Northeast Community College Student Activities Council (SAC).
April 2nd through April 4th, 2012 the NECC SAC hosted the Great NorthEASTER Egg Hunt.
Each day one Easter egg was hidden around Norfolk’s NECC campus. Clues were posted at 8:00, 10:00am and noon, on KHWK and SAC’s Facebook.
It was like a young child’s first Easter egg hunt. Students were running to and fro, looking in the strangest of places for one single egg.
On the first day of the hunt Luke McPhillips found the Easter egg in the Student Center game room window to the patio area. He won a Sony Bloggie.
Erik Glover found the next egg. It was hidden in Echtenkamp Park, next to the metal schoolhouse and tree sculpture. Glover won the Blue Wii.
On the last day of the egg hunt both Jon Collins and Alex Steadman found the egg. They won an IPOD Touch. The final egg was hidden in the College Welcome Center under the water fountain in the GPS hallway.
Congratulations to all the winners and good luck to the rest of you next time around!
