On April 22, 2012 there will be an MS Benefit for Candi Jareske.
MS stands for Multiple Sclerosis. According to PubMed Health, MS is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, or central nervous system.
Candi Jareske is an MS survivor. She has gone through several sessions of chemo therapy to put her MS into remission.
Candi and her husband, Greg, have been married for 27 years. They have six children together, the oldest is 26 and youngest recently turned 11.
The benefit will be held at the National Guard Armory, across from Pamida, in Wayne, NE. The event begins at 11:30am and ends at 2:30pm on April 22, 2012. There will be a soup and sandwich lunch, with free will donation, as well as raffle drawings and a silent auction.
All donations from this benefit will be used to help Candi with medical bills from the treatment of her Multiple Sclerosis.
Candi will also be participating in the MS walk in Norfolk, NE on April 28th. The Viewpoint will be sponsoring a stand Tuesday the 24th and Thursday the 26th in Hawks Landing, to help collect donations. The Viewpoint staff will be giving away inspirational bracelets to those who donate $2 or more to the Norfolk MS walk.
