LINCOLN-  Lincoln police have responded to multiple calls of people violating the city’s water restrictions.  Mayor Chris Beutler ordered the restrictions on Sunday, forcing residents to restrict the amount of water they use because of flooding at the well fields in Ashland.  Since then, police stated they’ve talked to people at multiple car washes, one person running a sprinkler, and one person washing their car about the restrictions.  So far no citations have been issued.
