When you are walking on campus at night, you can be sure that you will be safe. The Sioux City Night Patrol keeps Northeast students safe on campus 365 days a year. Campus security has uniformed officers patrolling regularly and a hotline set up twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Duties of the officers include securing buildings, escorting students, issuing traffic and parking citations, and providing crowd control. The Night Patrol officers aren’t just muscle either, they have to provide daily reports which can comprise of theft, vandalism, disturbance, and incident accounts. To ensure students safety, there is never only one officer on duty and their shifts are usually eight to twelve hours long.

About: I grew up on a farm and attended Verdigre Public School. I was on the Yearbook staff in my senior year of high school and am now on my second year of journalism in college. I am a book fan, not a sports fan and I am very quiet. I am so quiet, people usually forget that I'm in the room. I'm really excited to finish my final year of school, but I still don't know what I'm going to do after I graduate.
