NEBRASKA  —  Western and northern Nebraska are seeing their first snowfall of the season.  Snow started to fall late last night.  Areas near Whitney in far northwest Nebraska saw up to nine inches of snow.  The National Weather Service reports accumulation as far east as Valentine, just south of the South Dakota border along Highway 83.  One inch has fallen in that area over the last 24 hours.
