Northeast Community College is preparing to launch a new major for journalism students. The Mass Media program will be altered and renamed Digital Journalism and Social Media Management. This degree will include drone operation classes as well as writing, public relations and post production classes. Students in the program will be better equipped to enter the workforce and have a broader spectrum of opportunities ahead of them.
