Thanksgiving has passed, and I thought it would be a great time to tell you why I love Thanksgiving and what I am thankful for.

Of course, everyone says they are thankful for their family. That is a given. It is true though, because without the support of my family I would not have the ambition to chase my dreams. I am a person that really loves just to be around the people that I love. Being able to sit and talk to my grandparents and hear stories of what it was like when they were kids. Although it is the same story every year, I don’t know how to tell them that I have heard it a million time because I can see the joy on their face when they are telling me their story. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it gives my family the chance to gather and just have an amazing time together.

Another thing that I am thankful for is the new relationships I have made since coming to college. From just hanging out talking about our dreams in life or spending all night in the studio chasing our dreams. I love every second of it, and I would trade it for the world. I am also thankful for the opportunities that Northeast has given me — from shooting a short film in two days to getting to go to Husker Harvest Days and record some amazing content. I truly feel blessed and am so truly thankful for everything and everyone in my life.

I would love to hear what you guys are thankful for. Also, what your perfect Thanksgiving day would be like.
