Northeast Community College to Host Powerline Rodeo on Friday

Northeast Community College will host approximately 150 students from Nebraska and several states on Friday, April 6, as the College’s Utility Line program hold the annual College Powerline Rodeo. Activities begin at 9:30 a.m.

Teams from South Dakota, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, as well as two other colleges from Nebraska will be competing in the rodeo at the Utility Line building. College scheduled to participate are Alpena Community College, Alpena, MI; Metropolitan Community College, Kansas City, MO; Metropolitan Community College, Omaha, NE; Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Wadena, MN; Mitchell Technical College, Mitchell, SD; Moraine Park Technical College, Fond du Lac, WI; Northeast Community College, Norfolk, NE; State Technical College of Missouri, Linn, MO; and Western Nebraska Community College, Scottsbluff, NE.

Activities are scheduled to be held in and outside the Northeast Utility Line (UL) building, located just east of the main campus at Benjamin Avenue and Victory Road. In case of inclement weather, activities will be moved inside the UL building.
