The Norfolk Arts Center is excited to announce a new exhibition.  The opening ceremony will be Thursday, November 3 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the NAC.  Artists Dennis Wattier of Omaha and Roger Nadrchal of Norfolk work with wood media, but in two completely different ways. Wattier is a wood turner creating beautiful organic shapes and bowls; while Nadrchal is a wood carver who makes extremely intricate figures and animals.

During the reception each artist will speak about their work and art history.  “The artist’s perspective is amazing to me.” Comments Denice Hansen, Program Coordinator for the Norfolk Arts Center. “Each begin with the same media, wood, but the end result is worlds apart. The creative element plays such a huge role and I’m excited for the public to experience it.”

This exhibit will be on display from November 3 – December 29, 2016. Admission to the gallery is free.
