Northeast students turning 18 have the opportunity to vote in this election.  Anyone not yet registered still can, if they register soon.  The registration process can be done online, but needs to be completed by October 21 or in person by October 28.
Nebraska residents can go to the Nebraska government website at this link and then follow the instructions.  You can find out where your polling place is by clicking this link.

This year’s Presidential Election Day is on November 8.  Young people have the power to make a difference. An important way to achieve this is to make their voices heard at the polls on Election Day.

The Viewpoint staff talked to students of all ages to see if they are registered and what they think of the voting process.
