NORFOLK – The home opener for Northeast Community College’s new softball team has been rescheduled.

Jake Ripple, Northeast athletic director, said the doubleheader against Southeast Community College that was originally to be played in Norfolk on Sunday, February 21, will now be played in Beatrice. Games will be at 1 and 3 p.m.

Ripple said the two teams are scheduled to play each other again on Tuesday, March 8. Those games will now be played in Norfolk at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park at 3 and 5 p.m.
