Musician Brandon Heath to perform for Norfolk YoungLife fundraiser

Norfolk’s YoungLife group will be having a fundraiser on October 25, 2015 at 6:30 pm. YoungLife is an organization to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Contemporary Christian musician from Nashville, Brandon Heath, will be performing during this event in the Lifelong Learning Center at Northeast Community College.

Josh McKinley, who is one of the advisors of the group, said they chose Brandon Heath because he has been a part of YoungLife since the age of 16. The fundraiser will benefit both of Norfolk’s high school YoungLife and YoungLife College groups. He said, “The funds go to pay staff, train volunteers and provide funding for events for both sets of students.”

Admission is $15 and tickets are available at The Abbey and Christ is King Church. For more info call Norfolk Younglife Area Director (and Younglife College co-advisor), Josh McKinley 402-750-4065 or [email protected].
