NORFOLK – The Northeast Community College volleyball team has jumped in the national rankings. The Hawks moved up from #20 to #14 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Top 20 poll.

The Hawks (11-7) were 2-1 in the past week – winning a five set match over Southwestern Community College (IA) at home and in four sets over Iowa Lakes in Estherville, IA. Northeast fell to Central in straight sets in Columbus.

Tonight, the Hawks face North Platte Community College in North Platte at 7 p.m. The team will then challenge McCook Community College in McCook Friday night.
