YANKTON, SD – Brad Bosh was pleased with his team’s performance on the final day of the Mount Marty Invitational here Friday. The Hawks finished third in the eleven team field, shooting a two-day total of 607, two shots behind champion Mount Marty and one shot behind Morningside College.

“This was by far our best effort is a long time. I am so proud of my guys in the way we battled for two days,” said Bosh. “My four sophomores played well this week and freshman Cameron Bancroft got his second varsity meet under his belt.”

Individually, Mount Marty’s Robbie Neswick took medalist honors after firing a two under par, 142. For Northeast, Stephen Grand Pre was one of five players to tie for sixth with a 151. Michael Brockhaus and Preston Peters tied for eleventh with 152; Dalton Lammers fired a 153 and Cody Steuter finished with a 154.

The Hawks will host Central Community College in a dual at Fairplay Golf Couse on Tuesday, September 15.
