A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 9, at 9:30 a.m. for Northeast Community College’s new $19 million residence hall/dining facility on its Norfolk campus, 801 E. Benjamin Avenue. The new residence hall will be able to accommodate up to 200 students. Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman will be among those who will be speaking at the event.

The ceremony will take place on the northwest edge of campus under a white tent near Burkhardt (Residence Hall) and Student Apartment “B.”
