Miranda Lambert leads the nominations for the 2014 Country Music Assn. Awards with nine, matching a record she set in 2010 for female with the most nominations in CMA history.

Lambert is up for the CMA’s highest accolade, entertainer of the year, as well as album of the year for “Platinum.” When asked about the success of “Platinum,” the 30-year-old said she’s “just getting started.”

“George Strait’s had a career — well, he’s had a career longer than I’ve been alive! So I’ve got a long way to go,” she told The L.A. Times in June.

After Lambert are Dierks Bentley, who received five nominations, and Eric Church and Keith Urban, who tied with four apiece. CMA darling Taylor Swift, who turned her full attention to pop with the upcoming album “1989,” vies for just one award, female vocalist of the year.

The 48th CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, and will be broadcast live from the from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 5.
